		<description>Ed, after doing music tech for two years I can truly say you will never really hurt yourself with an xlr cable or mic! It hardly ever runs at +48v (only if your using a condensor with phantom power on) and two mics next to each other shouldnt be a problem at all, thats how they mic up drum kits. Its probably just a load of waffle the college has told you to save them from being sued :-P</description>
