18th Birthday

Nom Nom Nom CakeToday is the day when my ages goes up by a year making me 18. I have got quite excited about my birthday for a change as I am now officially an adult. As I’m not a naughty person, I shouldn’t get scared that I can now get admitted to jail if I break the law. Least I’m old enough to buy gangta dvd’s now.. I say this because last week I was looking for movies for my assignment that due in at December and was going to order one from Play.com, however they act within the law and asked me to remove it from cart. Even though the college shown me it. lol

Yesterday was really brilliant and it started off by heading into Reading with my sister. On the way there I shown off my music collection to her as it makes me feel more manly. :P Well I just wanted her to listen to some tracks of a unsigned band that I am rather fond of. She liked them which was nice. However her car speakers seem to be louder more on the left and it bugged me alittle.

Two Seasons readingWhen we arrived in the car park, we started to wonder around the city centre. Some of the highlights is when I noticed that Two Seasons have a more massive store (than Derby) that is near to Footlocker. So we looked at there hat collection as they like there hats it seems. The other highlight is that I ate at Nandos which I discovered that I love the place. The food is soo good. Yum. We went around other clothes shop which I felt the pain of not having a job as I really wanted to buy everything. My sister didn’t manage to have time to buy me a present so we went into HMV where which she got me a Alfred Hitchcock dvd collection. I wanted that for so long.

In the evening I got invited by wanted of her friends to watch some fireworks. I had a massive laugh there as firstly I received a pink cake, played with sparklers, and watched some fireworks. I got handed some cards which I opened today and I like one of them as it had a nice message in it. I will post it up later. It was a nice ending to the day.

So back to today. I didn’t do that much apart having a meal and a Bud at the pub and received my mom presents. She couldn’t get much as she unwell but I loved the clothes, toilette, and tin of sweets she brought me. I thought it was nice. Anyway, I better do some college work that I been avoiding for the whole weekend but least it means that I don’t have to get concerned about it.

Woah, its Christmas eve!

I really didn’t relise that today was Christmas eve till I looked at Wikipedia about Christmas to be reminded that Christmas is on the 25th, for some reason I thought it was on my dad’s birthday which is on the 27th. Anyway, I’m sure that I will post on Christmas but if not..

Urgh!

I feel so annoyed on the slow process with the horror in video production today. The other group is editing and have shot all their footage while meanwhile my group haven’t even got much footage. I so want to be in the other group as they managed to just go on and do it unlike the two groups that are so called working together that I am in. The tutor for video lesson reminded the class that today and next week is only time left to shoot before it going to the editing suite. I kept having to nudge everyone to do every single task and it took a lot of effort to get anyone to do anything .

At the end of the day I know that the horror movie won’t be the greatest thing ever.. I just want to get the task done and to have enough time to edit it. i don’t think the group should be wasting time to make sure it perfect, just anything will do for this late stage.

Anyway, I was a zombie for the other group after many wasted moments of some of the group going off to get a lab coat and setting up the camera. It took such along time for them to do anything and was too dragged out than it should of been. When it did get the point of doing the part I was in it involed falling onto the grass which I wasn’t pleased about. Someone whack me forward when this happen and now my nose fucking hurts as it is bruised and my glasses went wonky. Wonky glasses is frigging annoying and take such along time to correct them again to be just right.

I can’t wait till the weekend as its my 17th birthday and I shall be up to stuff. Its all very exciting being at the age to drive however it is scary as I am unsure if I will manage to drive a car nevertheless pass the driving licence. I could do so much more in my life if I could drive.

Crazy CD Buying

For some people Internet banking helps people make sure that they have money in their accounts. However for me, when I see I have some money in my account I am tempted to spend some of it. For once I managed to save some money for couple of months which was good. This have gone out of bank and transformed into CD though now as after months of temptation I decided to spend half of it. Sod it I thought, its my birthday soon so I am going to treat myself. :P

I will try and get some more details on the Subway development and maybe some photos. This will have be some time next week as I am travelling to good old Stoke for half term as I felt I would be more bored right here and spending some time with people more towards my age would be nice for a change. I love my parents but its not the same.

I shall not buy tickets too far in advance in the future. I am forced to pay £10 extra as I want to change the date of when I am travelling back. Not too bad. I was scared that my ticket said I couldn’t change it at all. I have to see how it goes when I try to change it.
